The bright lights of Christmas will stream by during this year’s Lawrenceburg Christmas parade, which will begin at dusk. Parade entries will be encouraged to light up their floats, vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and even themselves. Business and home owners along the route are also encouraged to put out their best display of Christmas lights to help make this parade spectacularly festive.
Glen Drury, who coached the Anderson County High School boy’s basketball team for 31 years before retiring in May, will be this year’s grand marshal.
Parade starts at 5pm by the American Legion Park on Broadway Street and proceeds up Main Street through downtown.
