Foo Fighters cancels all European after Grohl injury

Four days after Dave Grohl broke his leg in the middle of a Foo Fighters show, the band has announced that they are canceling their remaining European concert dates–including their headlining set at the Glastonbury Festival. “Doctors have required the cancellation of the remainder of the band’s dates in the UK and Europe,” said a statement posted on the band’s website on Tuesday. “After undergoing surgery Monday, Dave’s full recuperation time is still to be determined.” According to the BBC, dates in Belgium, Edinburgh and London’s Wembley Stadium have also been canceled. Grohl also addressed the cancellations in an open letter to fans, explaining, “You know I hate to do it, but I’m afraid it’s just not physically possible for me at the moment.”
