Kara Fired from American Idol?

TMZ reports that, Kara DioGuardi has been fired from American Idol! The show will be going back to a three-judge format and will consist of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, according to the celebrity website. DioGuardi's only hope to remain on the show is if the Lopez deal falls through. The report comes hours after judge Ellen DeGeneres announced she was leaving the show.

Quits American Idol!!!

Ellen DeGeneres has announced that she is leaving American Idol and won’t return next season as a judge! Ellen said, "A couple months ago, I let FOX and the "American Idol" producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn't leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for. I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on "Idol" and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be."

No Prenup

Katy Perry and Russell Brand are not going to sign a prenup. A source tells More magazine, "They are in love and don't want to hear from anyone predicting doom in their future. That's how they feel when anyone brings up the subject of a pre-nup. People close to them have made it clear they should seriously consider getting one drawn up, but they just smile and change the subject. Katy and Russell live by their own rules and if they don't want to discuss something they just plough on regardless. They don't see the negative, just the best outcome, especially with their relationship."

Selena Talks About Justin!

Selena Gomez revealed that Justin Bieber asked her to take off her heels before a performance together so she wouldn't tower over him, but she wasn't having any of that! She explains: "I said, 'I'm not going to take off my heels. You're short. Embrace it.' He's getting taller, though."

Special Treatment

Lindsay Lohan is receiving preferential treatment in jail. A source tells Hollywoodlife.com, “She received clean underwear when no other inmate did. She was given fresh pairs while other inmates have them for at least a week before we got a fresh pair." Another source says, “The one hour Lindsay was allowed out, she was given a cell phone to use – which no other inmate was allowed; our phones were confiscated. While she was on the phone she was crying the whole time, even thought she also says she’s getting out [of jail] next week. She’s a crybaby.”

Snooki Only Hangs With Stars!

Snooki tells Rolling Stone magazine she refuses to socialize with those, who are not famous like herself. “At first I was like, ‘Is this what my life is going to be like now – hanging out with celebrities?’ But now I’d rather party with them than normal people. Not normal, but you know what I mean. When you’re with people that are going through what you’re going through, then it’s fun, because they’re not freaking out.”

Stay in Prison!

Next week, the man who killed the legendary John Lennon will be up for parole. As she has done for the last six times this has happened, Yoko Ono will oppose the release. Her lawyer explains that she has yet again sent a letter to the parole board, urging them to keep her husband's murderer, Mark David Chapman, behind bars. In that letter, Ono wrote that if Chapman is released, "I am afraid it will bring back the nightmare, the chaos and confusion once again. Myself and John's two sons would not feel safe for the rest of our lives."

Michael Lohan Wants Help!

During a radio interview, Michael Lohan mentioned that he was reaching out to Robert Downey Jr and Mark Wahlberg to help his daughter Lindsay. Michael said: "My people are reaching out to Robert Downey Jr. and to Mark Wahlberg. I know both of them and Mark is a tremendous human being. Hopefully they'll see her before she gets out and she'll get in this rehab and get off these prescription meds, and she'll get her life back.She's only on two [medications] right now. Ambien is for sleeping, so I can understand that. But this Adderall stuff has got to be stopped. Seven out of 10 kids in college are on this stuff and it's no more than methamphetamine! It's speed.Once she gets out, which will be Thursday or Friday, of course I'm going to fly back and I'll be there for her."

Getting Married!

Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda is now engaged to her 21 year old boyfriend, Charlie Hill. Charlie, who started dating Linda when he was 19 and friends with her son Nick, will now be stepfather to him and daughter, Brooke, even though she's a year older than he is! The ceremony will be taking place next summer on the couple's yacht.

Saw 3D!

Saw 3D, the upcoming 7th movie in the Saw franchise, will be the last one according to producers who say, "It's time to stop. We have told the story we wanted to tell, and this is going to be a great farewell." The 3D movie will have 11 booby traps, almost double compared to the previous films, and it was submitted 6 times to the MPAA before bringing it down from an NC-17 to an R rating!

Slumber Party!

According to In Touch Weekly, Sarah Palin may be joining Kate Gosselin and her kids on a camping trip for an episode of their reality show. The cameras have already documented the brood's trip to Alaska to meet the former Governor. "Sarah, Kate and the kids will go camping," claims a source. "She's excited because it will be fun and educational for the children. Sarah will even teach Kate how to avoid bears!" And Sarah's father, who is a retired teacher, will give the children a hands-on science lesson.

Replacing Simon?

Auditions for the 10^th season of American Idol began in Nashville last week, but there is still no official work on who will be replacing Simon yet. But a new name has emerged as a front runner for the job, Chris Isaak! Supposedly, the singer has met with show runners several times and they really like him. But rumor has it that Harry Connick Jr is in the mix as well.

New Music!

Taylor Swift announced that her album will be released on October 25^th. The album is called Speak Now and will feature 14 tracks, including Sparks Fly, a song she frequently performed on the Fearless tour. The first single, Mine, is about her "tendency to run from love." It is due out mid-August.
